March 6 Repotting demonstration of Catts and Paphs by John Hyatt and Linda Lee Earle. Tammy Fletcher will show her baggie technique to rejuvenate roots on orchids.

 
 

Apr  3 Linda Thorne of Seagrove Orchids http://seagroveorchids.com/   Look at the website and pre order plants, Linda will be happy to bring your purchases to the meeting to save on shipping.

 
 

May 1 Wild Orchid walk at  Bay's Mountain

August Auction Time

 
 

September 4  Steve Arthur will present a program "From Pollination to Bloom." Steve will be bringing plants to sale.

 
 

SHOW EVENTS

 
 

Feb 19-20 Johnson City Home and Garden Show at Freedom Hall. We will be selling orchids. Set up is at 10 am Friday morning. Please bring your blooming plants for our display table. We will have about 30 plants to sell.  Contact Linda at artuponthehill@hotmail.net if you want to volunteer.

 
 

Mar 4,  5-6  Smoky Mountain Orchid Show in Knoxville.  OSET will have a display table. John and Julie Hyatt and Dave and Sandy Heaton have volunteered to cover this show.

 
 

Mar  26-27  Western North Carolina Show. OSET will have a display table. Set-up is covered but we need take down volunteers.

 
 

 
 

ORCHID SALE EVENTS

 
 

In order to boost our Treasury, we will hold the following sales in addition to the upcoming sale at the Garden Show.

 
 

April 30th we will set up at the Spring Garden Fest at the Exchange Place.

 
 

May 28th we will have a table at the Jonesborough Gala.

 
 

May 14th  Yard sale in Jonesborough.

 
 

We need volunteers for all of these events.
